Florida Buoy
Our floating vacation home

Sailors are where they want to be.
When a sailor is on his boat, he is where he wants to be.
The destination is secondary

Old salts and wannabes
We plan to share information, resources, photos and experiences that were interesting or helpful to us.It took us 25 years to get the boat I wanted. Lost one in hurricane Jeanne 2004. Photos of the results of Francis and Jeanne included under Voyages. We certainly do not consider ourselves overly salty or experienced, or all-knowing though we enjoy working on the joy and challenges of sailing. Oh yes and boat maintenance.

We
have to keep this location a secret because it certainly is paradise with extensive marine ecological wilderness and one of the best sailing places you could ever find. You can be sailing quickly, you can stay in open water or sheltered water, and there are numerous islands for anchorages, exploring, gunkholing, and kayaking. And there's enough civilization nearby if you want
